Martin Fehmer
Martin obtained his Bachelor´s and Master’s degree in Biochemistry from the Goethe University Frankfurt. He conducted his Bachelor’s thesis in the laboratory of Prof. Klaas Martinus Pos, where he studied the effects of single point mutations on the drug transport behavior of the multidrug efflux pump AcrAB-TolC. For his Master’s thesis, Martin joined the group of Prof. Robert Tampé, focusing on ligand-independent signaling of the neuropeptide Y receptor Y2R under the supervision of Dr. Florencia Sánchez. In December 2022, he joined the Münch laboratory to carry out his PhD aimed at resolving cellular protein flux during cell perturbation using mass spectrometry-based proteomics.
