Dr. Asad Siyal
Asad studied Biomedical Engineering at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan. He obtained his PhD and completed his postdoctoral research in mass spectrometry-based proteomics at Academia Sinica, Taiwan, focusing on single-cell and low-input proteomics and their application to the molecular profiling of non-small cell lung cancer and immune cells. He then joined Proteome Sciences in Germany as a Senior Scientist, where he led the development of sensitive and scalable single-cell proteomics workflows. Since 2026, he has been a Proteomics Scientist in the Münch Lab at the Institute of Molecular Systems Medicine, contributing to the development and application of single-cell proteomics approaches in biomedical research.
